Return + Repairs

Return Policy

Atelier Vipond reserves the right to charge a 10% transaction fee on cancelled orders pre-production. The transaction fee will be deducted from your refund.

Due to the way we make our pieces, everything is created on a made to order basis.  Because of this, we do not except returns so please be sure of the piece you are looking at before you purchase.  If you have any questions about our work, don't hesitate to contact us before placing an order.

We have a 24 hour waiting period between orders placed and putting them into production.  Once they are in production they cannot be cancelled.  The 24 hour waiting period is there in case of emergency requests such as changing a ring size, or cancellation.  We reserve the right to refuse unreasonable cancellation requests.

We recommend confirming your desired ring size prior to placing an order.

We are not able to issue refunds for duties and taxes paid by the recipient, as these fees go to the destination country's customs and are not controlled by Atelier Vipond.  If you are curious about duties and taxes in your country, please contact your local customs agency.

Repair Policy

If a piece has arrived to you defective or damaged, please return the item within 7 days of receipt.  We will make the required repairs and return it to you.

If you have purchased a custom ring from us, we offer one complimentary resizing.  Future resizing will incur a small charge.

REPAIR/RESIZING POLICY STEPS:

Contact us with your Order number and please indicate this on the outside of your return parcel.
For orders coming from outside Canada, please indicate the HTS (Harmonized Code) on the customs form.  The code should be "9813.00.00" and needs to include the description "Canadian goods returning to Canada for repair under warranty".  Without these there may be duties and taxes incurred, and they will be on the customer to pay.
Our studio address will be provided via email, please mail the piece in safe and secure packaging, and in a padded envelope or box.  We are not responsible for pieces lost in the mail. 
The customer will be responsible for any and all shipping costs associated with repairs, and shipped packages should be insured up to the value of the item being shipped.  For the safest possible option, ship via UPS or Fedex Express, any brokerage fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Please enclose in the box the original packaging, your order confirmation, the jewelry piece that needs repairs, your return address and contact information and we will do our best to return your piece repaired within 2-3 weeks.

Atelier Vipond is not responsible for broken or lost stones, however we offer stone replacements for a reasonable repair fee. Repair fees will be established at the time of receipt or via e-mail if substantial photos can be provided.

 

Our pieces are strong but still delicate and depending on lifestyle will wear over time.  Care should be taken when worn to maintain appearance.  If you would like to know more about repairs due to everyday wear, please contact us.

Please note that pieces resized/modified outside of our studio invalidate warranty and may be subject to additional fees.

We reserve the right to decline unreasonable repairs.
